Learn how to configure a set of permissions for your employees to access Inventory

Assets

  • Can see assets — allows accessing the “Assets” tab menu on the “Inventory” page and viewing the corresponding Assets in Order profiles.

  • Can create assets — allows creating new Assets on the “Inventory > Assets” page or directly from Orders.

  • Can edit assets — allows making changes in the Asset profile.

  • Can write-off assets — allows writing-off an Asset.

  • Can merge assets - allows merging Assets.

  • Can transfer assets — allows transferring Assets.

Note: When the automated Asset transfer based on the Work Order status update is enabled, the employees who don’t have corresponding access permission (“Can transfer assets”) may still change Work Order status. However, the Asset can not be transferred and will stay in the same Warehouse unchanged.

Postings

  • Can view postings — allows accessing the “Postings” tab menu on the “Inventory” page and access the related documents for review.

  • Can create posting — allows viewing the “Postings” tab menu on the “Inventory” page and work on it (add new postings and draft postings).

  • Can edit posting - the ability to edit the posting document (edit products in the document, change the quantity of products, warehouse, supplier, and document number).

  • Can remove posting — allows removing postings and draft postings on the “Inventory > Postings” page.

Write-offs

  • Can view write-offs ー allows viewing the Write-offs tab on the “Inventory” page and view write-off documents.

  • Can create write-offs ー allows seeing the Write-offs tab on the “Inventory” page and working on it (create write-offs).

  • Can edit write-offs ー allows editing a write-off document (add and delete items, change the quantity of items, change the comment).

  • Can delete write-offs ー allows deleting write-offs on the “Inventory > Write-offs” page.

Transfers

  • Transfers ー allows viewing the “Transfers” tab menu on the “Inventory” page and work on it (transferring products across multiple Warehouses, printing the corresponding documents).

Stocktake

  • Can view the stocktake lists ー allows accessing the stocktake lists for review and print the related documents on the “Inventory > Stocktakes” page.

  • Can view the inventory totals — allows viewing or managing inventory totals, and print the related documents. When turned off, the “Stocktake settlement” button will not be displayed in the related documents.

  • Can create stocktake lists ー allows adding new stocktake lists on the “Inventory > Stocktakes” page. When turned off, the “+ Stocktake list” button will not be displayed on the “Inventory > Stocktakes” page.

  • Can delete stocktake lists ー allows removing the existing stocktake lists on the “Inventory > Stocktakes” page. When turned off, a corresponding button will not be displayed in the related documents.

Purchase Returns

  • Can view the returns ー allows accessing the lists of purchase returns for review and printing the related documents on the “Inventory > Purchase returns” page.

  • Can create returns ー allows adding new purchase returns to suppliers. When turned off, a corresponding button will not be displayed in the related documents (Postings).

  • Can edit purchase returns – allows editing returns (increase/decrease the number of items, change the comment).

  • Can delete purchase returns – allows deleting returns on the Inventory > Purchase Returns page.

  • Can delete warehouse operations ー allows removing stock take, write-off and purchase return operations.

  • Can export the products ー allows exporting the list of products in the Excel file format by pressing “Export” on the “My company > Products” page.

  • Can import products ー allows adding product data (name, description, code, SKU, barcodes) without necessarily choosing a supplier, importing data in the Excel file format by pressing “Import” on the “My company > Products” page.
