E-Chat is a Telegram number integration service that helps companies improve communication with customers and automate business processes.
E-Chat allows you to communicate with customers through convenient communication methods from the RemOnline Chat section.
To enable this integration, you must first create an account in E-Chat.
Creating an account in E-Chat
1. Go to E-Chat.
2. Fill in the information in the registration window and click Register.
Name and Company fields are optional, so you can skip them.
3. Log in with your email and the password you created.
You have successfully created an account in E-Chat! The next step is to add a Telegram number.
Please note: you can add multiple Telegram numbers, but each number must be added separately. You can find the rates for each individual number here.
Adding a Telegram number
1. Click Connect number.
2. Select Telegram, then RemOnline integration, and click Add number.
3. Click Generate QR. It will take up to 2 minutes to generate the code.
4. Open Telegram on your smartphone, go to Settings > Devices, click Connect device and scan the QR code. You will receive an activation notification in Telegram.
Done! Your Telegram number is now connected to E-Chat and ready to connect to RemOnline.
Connecting to RemOnline
1. Go to the Integrations section and copy the required API key.
2. In RemOnline, go to the Settings > Chats section and click + Channel. Select the resource - Telegram.
3. Fill in all the fields:
Channel name - come up with a name for your Telegram channel that you will use to communicate with customers.
API key - add the API key copied from the E-Chat integration.
Phone number - enter the phone number you used in the E-Chat integration.
Important: if such an account has already been added in the integration of another product, the system does not allow you to connect this channel to RemOnline. To fix this, you need to delete the existing integration in another product, add this number to E-Chat and then add it to RemOnline.
4. Configure the Channel access.
All - all employees of the company will have access to the Chat settings, provided that such access is allowed by the system;
Selected - only selected employees will have access to the Chat settings, provided that such access is allowed by the system;
Owner - only the company owner will have access to the settings.
To change the settings for employees' access to Chat, go to Settings > Employees > Roles and edit the necessary settings.
5. Click Create.
You're done! You have connected Telegram chats and can now communicate with customers directly in RemOnline.
