We’re thrilled to introduce a new feature in RemOnline that’s set to revolutionize how you manage work orders and estimates—Board View. This mode offers a visual, intuitive way to track and manage your work orders and estimates, helping you stay on top of your workflow with ease.
How Does the Board View Work?
Board View organizes your work orders and estimates by their status groups, with each column on the board representing a different group. This layout gives you a clear, at-a-glance overview of all ongoing tasks, making it easier than ever to manage your work—especially on larger screens.
Drag and Drop: In Board View, you can easily change the status of your work orders and estimates by dragging and dropping their cards across columns. When you drag a card to a specific column, you’ll see all the available statuses within that group. Simply drop the card on the desired status to update it.
Status Groups: Board View focuses on active work, displaying only work orders and estimates that are not yet closed. However, closed status groups are accessible when you’re dragging a card, so you can easily close a work order or convert an estimate into an order directly from the board.
Customizing Your Cards
Remember, you have full control over what information is displayed on each work order or estimate card. Go to Settings > Forms Editor to customize the fields that appear on your cards. This way, you can ensure that the most relevant information is always visible at a glance.
From Work Orders to Workflows
You may have noticed that the Work Orders section has been renamed to Workflows. Don’t worry—this change doesn’t affect your orders or estimates. Everything is still in place. We simply realized that this section encompasses more than just work orders, so we decided the new name was more fitting.
