Today’s AI tools can quickly identify key points and save you hours of manual work. That’s why we’ve added AI-powered transcription and summary to the Calls module:
Every call recorded through the telephony integration is converted into a text transcript just in a click.
Key moments, action items, and customer requests are distilled into a one-paragraph summary—no more sifting through minutes of audio.
Your transcripts and summaries appear alongside each call entry, making it simple to review conversations in context.
Simply click one button to get the transcribed details of the call instead of listening to long conversations.
How Does It Work?
Open the Calls module and look for the new Transcribe button next to each recorded call entry. Clicking it (or the familiar Listen icon) opens the call dialog, where you’ll see the transcript and AI-generated summary. From there, simply click any timestamp in the transcript to jump straight to that moment in the audio.
Please note that transcription may take some time (just a few seconds or little more), depending on length, and the feature currently supports recordings up to 20 minutes long. Because AI isn’t perfect, we recommend double-checking any critical details against the audio. But timestamps make it easy to verify specific points.
VoIP Integrations
To use AI transcription, first connect a VoIP provider:
Go to Settings > Integrations
Choose and connect Twilio Voice or Zadarma
Once set up, every new call you make or receive will be ready for transcription with a single click.
Future Improvements
Today, you trigger each transcription manually. Soon, we’ll introduce automatic AI transcriptions for calls up to 20 minutes, so your summaries will be ready the moment a conversation ends.
