At RemOnline, we know your business revolves around people — whether they’re clients, suppliers, or team members. That’s why we rolled out a set of updates to help you better organize and manage your contact data.

Clients Module Renamed to Contacts

Over time, the Clients module has become much more than just a place for customer records — it also includes supplier and employee data. To better reflect the variety of people and companies you work with, we renamed this module to Contacts.

This small but meaningful change will reduce confusion and give you a clearer understanding of the data stored here.

Note: In orders, sales, and other documents, the term Client will still be used.

People and Organizations: A Smarter Structure for Your Data

To make contact management even easier, this module is divided now into two sections:

  • People – individual contacts like customers, employees, or representatives

  • Organizations – companies or institutions

Also, you can now link people to organizations. Here's how it works:

  • A person can be linked to one organization

  • An organization can be linked to multiple people

Once linked, this relationship is visible on the contact’s profile and in documents like orders, sales, and more — giving you richer context at a glance.

Reimagined Tags: More Visual, More Flexible

We also enhanced how tags work across the system to give you more customization and clarity.

What’s new:

  • The "Conflict" checkbox in the client profile is replaced with a tag, making it easier to manage and more consistent with your workflow. You can customize it if you want.

  • Tags support colors, just like in RemOnline Chats — helping you instantly recognize different contact types.

  • You can edit tag colors in Settings > Tags to suit your team’s needs.

  • These improved tags are visible on the contact card in orders, sales, chats, and other modules for quicker access and clearer communication.

We made these changes to help you stay more organized and save time when working with your contacts.

Leads Renamed to Inquiries

We’ve updated the name of the Leads module to better reflect its purpose and give you more clarity when working with potential clients.

Leads often caused confusion, especially when clients were simply asking a question or requesting information.

By renaming it to "Inquiries", we’re making it clearer that this module is meant for initial requests, questions, or expressions of interest — before they turn into actual sales or orders, tickets, jobs.
