Learn how to create and use tags in RemOnline Chats

Tags in RemOnline chats are a convenient way to organize communication with clients, organize chats, and quickly find the conversations you need. In this article, you will learn how to add, edit, and delete tags, as well as what restrictions exist for their use.

How to add a tag to a chat?

To add a tag to a chat:

  1. Open the desired chat.

  2. Click on the tag button to open the all tags editing field.

  3. Enter a name for the tag and click Create.

Important:

  • The maximum number of characters in the tag name is 10.

  • You cannot create tags with the same name.

The tag will be created with a random color, which can be edited later.

You can add no more than 3 tags to one chat and create no more than 20 tags in your company account.

To use a new tag in other chats:

  1. Go to the desired chat.

  2. Open the tag editing field.

  3. Find the desired tag in the list or start typing its name.

  4. Click on the tag to add it to the chat.

How to edit and delete a tag?

To edit a tag:

1. Open the tag editing field in the chat.

2. Find the desired tag in the list and click on the edit icon.

3. Make the necessary changes to the tag name and/or color and save it.

To remove a tag from a chat, open the chat and click on the cross in the tag name.

To delete a tag from the list of tags and from all chats where it is applied, open the tag editing window and click on the delete icon.
